Fitba Focus is Scottish football, stripped back to what matters: the fans, the friction, and the 90 minutes on the pitch.
We don’t do clickbait. We don’t do recycled “breaking” news that you’ve already read ten times on social media. We’re here to provide honest coverage, deep-dive analysis, and a platform for the debates that happen in the pubs and on the terraces across Scotland every weekend.
Who We Are
Fitba Focus was founded by Frankie Anderson and Peter Knox. We aren’t new to the world of sports media—we also run MMA UK, one of the country’s leading combat sports outlets. But while MMA is our business, Scottish football is our lifeblood.
- Frankie Anderson: A lifelong Rangers fan and former season ticket holder at Ibrox. Frankie grew up playing the game at a competitive level, giving him a tactical perspective on the pitch that goes beyond just watching from the stands. If there’s a game on, Frankie is watching it.
- Peter Knox: A lifelong Aberdeen fan who has seen the highs and the lows of life at Pittodrie. Peter brings that “Don” perspective and a deep knowledge of the Scottish game’s history and heartbeat.
Despite our club loyalties, we are united by a massive passion for the Scotland National Team and a belief that the entire Scottish pyramid—from the Juniors to the Premiership—deserves better coverage.
Why Fitba Focus?
The mainstream media often focuses its lens on the same two or three stories. We believe that a last-minute winner in League Two is just as dramatic as a goal in the Glasgow Derby.
We created this site because we were tired of “thin” content. We wanted a place where:
- Analysis is King: We look at why a result happened, not just what the score was.
- The Full Pyramid Matters: We give a voice to the clubs that the national papers often overlook.
- Fan Perspective is Priority: This site is run by people who have felt the rain at Arbroath and the tension of a relegation scrap.
Our Future
We are just getting started. Within the next two years, our goal is to build a dedicated team of writers representing every corner of the Scottish leagues. We are also preparing to launch the Fitba Focus Video Podcast—a raw, unfiltered look at the weekend’s action featuring real fans with real opinions.
Join the Discussion
Scottish football is built on passion and strong opinions. We don’t expect you to always agree with us—in fact, we hope you don’t. That’s what makes the Scottish game the best in the world.
Read. Debate. Focus on the Fitba.
